I had the opportunity to photograph some of the participents   from “Second Chance” TV show.   Their challenge was to detox and regenerate their bodies by eating living foods, practicing  yoga, and qi gong.  They celebrated their successful completion of the  Yoga and Raw Food Challenge at Simon’s Restaurant in The Palms Place.  I was so inspired by all of their stories, that I have decided to join  David and Dr. Alyssa for 2nd challenge!  The next one is an Internal/External Martial Arts Challenge, and is being held at the Lohan School of Shaolin.

Rochelle and Michael are an amazing couple!  It was an honor working with them.  They chose Red Rock Canyon, in Las Vegas, for their ceremony, and were blessed with a perfect day.

Here are a few tips that will help prepare you for your newborn baby’s photo session:

  1. The best time for newborn photography is when your baby is 6-14 days old.
  2. Keep your baby’s schedule in mind when booking your session.  Most newborn photos are taken when the baby is sleeping.
  3. On the day of your photo shoot, keep your day simple and relaxed.
  4. Keep your baby in loose fitting clothing to avoid red marks on the skin. Remove booties 15 prior to session.
  5. Keep clothing to a minimum. A diaper or just a favorite blanket around the baby often works best.
  6. Have extra diapers and towels on hand. You’ll need them!
  7. Newborn babies are unpredictable.  Your session most likely will run more than an hour.

Haley is amazing! It is hard to believe she is only 2 weeks old! She is already holding her head up and posing! I think there might just be a modeling career in her future!
